North Korea is constructing a giant storage and assembly area for its nuclear ballistic missiles, according to an analysis of new satellite photographs, as it consolidates its weapons of mass destruction following the failure of talks between Kim Jong-un and President Trump. The new base close to Pyongyang’s main airport includes underground storage areas and buildings tall enough to accommodate the Hwasong-15 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), which has the potential to strike North American cities with nuclear warheads.
