A Malaysian cinema appears to have become covered in mould after two months of coronavirus lockdown which has already ravaged the country’s leather goods retailers.

The cinema’s purple and red seats and its carpets had been wrecked by a thick layer of mould and dust, according to the photographer in the city of Ipoh in western Perak state.

Under US law they would normally be allowed to live with relatives while their cases wind through immigration courts.

Instead the Trump administration is quickly expelling them under an emergency declaration citing the coronavirus pandemic, with 600 minors expelled in April alone.

“Today we received a list of individuals who requested the unmasking of Lt. General Michael Flynn and others who received access to that information,” Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson and Finance Chairman Chuck Grassley said in a joint statement on Wednesday.

“The officials listed should confirm whether they reviewed this information, why they asked for it and what they did with it, and answer many other questions that have been raised by recent revelations. We are making this public because the American people have a right to know what happened. We commend Acting DNI [Richard] Grenell and Attorney General [William] Barr for their transparency and responsiveness,” the senators said.

One malicious document sent by Lazarus dealt with the pandemic response in a major city, the security firm said.
